Council cites increased risk of storm surges as winds shift overnight
Douglas City Council is closing the Bottleneck car park from this evening through until Saturday morning.
The move is due to a forecast change in wind direction, increasing the risk of coastal storm surges.
The council says the closure is to protect vehicles and drivers from potential damage or injury.
Drivers are being asked not to use the car park until conditions improve.
