Health minister discusses rise of cases in the UK
The health minister says he doesn't expect a step back to level 5 of the border framework any time soon.
It's as cases of Covid-19 in the UK are on the rise, with the Office for National Statistics reporting a 1-in-1,400 infection rate.
When government moved to level 4 of the border framework the infection rate in the UK was 1-in-3,900.
However, David Ashford says the ONS has changed the way it records these results since they last influenced a change in the Island's border framework:
"Rapid review" into bed capacity at Noble's Hospital
Still 'very low risk' of meningitis outbreak on Island
MHK 'disappointed but not surprised' over secondary school delay
FoI statistics to be published quarterly to improve transparency
