New MHKs officially join government
The Island's two newest MHKs have been sworn in.
Geoffrey Boot and Ray Harmer were elected in Glenfaba and Peel respectively via by-elections last month.
Their official introduction into the House of Keys took place at a ceremony in the Keys this morning, ahead of the start of the October sitting of Tynwald.
Following the formalities, they were addressed by Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan, who reminded them of their responsibilities towards their constituents:
