False alarm in the west for emergency services
Emergency services were called to reports of an unexploded bomb earlier.
A large rusted metal object was washed up on Port Mooar beach, near Peel, where it was discovered by a member of the public.
Coastguards were summoned to the scene - only to find it was a false alarm.
Officers have used the opportunity to remind people to stay away from any 'unusual or suspicious' items they discover on the beach, and dial 999.
