Unexploded ordnance discovered near incinerator
Bomb disposal experts are coming to the Isle of Man after unexploded ordnance was discovered near the Energy From Waste Plant on Richmond Hill.
Police closed off access to the Middle Farm Industrial Estate yesterday afternoon, and say the area will remain closed due to the situation.
Specialist units have been contacted and will travel to the Island to safely remove the ordnance.
Workers at the incinerator are still able to access the site, but all other workers within the Middle Farm site will be refused access.
Anyone who owns one of the sites on the estate can contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
