But restaurant will still operate Christmas Day bookings
Another restaurant on the Island has announced it's closing with immediate effect.
The Boathouse, in Port St Mary, shared the decision on its Facebook page.
The current owners have operated the business in the village for the last two years.
The Boathouse will open for one last service, on Christmas Day, before the restaurant is closed and the premises put up for sale.
In a statement the owner added: "It's been a pleasure to serve all our amazing customers over the last two years and to have worked alongside some fantastic and hardworking staff members.
"It's not all bad news though! We will have one last service on Christmas Day before we pack up for good.
"The restaurant will shortly be going up for sale as we hope to keep this beautiful seaside restaurant in place."
