
This morning's Steam Packet sailing from the Island to Birkenhead has been cancelled, due to technical problems (27 Dec).
The company has confirmed the vessel has suffered engineering difficulties with its steering.
Passengers waiting for the 0800 departure from Douglas were informed of a delay by loading staff, subsequently the service was cancelled shortly after 0830.
The return crossing due to depart Birkenhead at 2pm is also cancelled.
