Billown Dip incident leads to red flag

Riders and Marshals involved, session abandoned

A serious incident during the first practice for the Pre-TT Classic racing at Billown meant the session had to be red-flagged last night.

The Southern 100 Motorcycle Racing Club says the incident during the 850cc Classic class meant the remainder of the evening’s practice session had to be abandoned.

The incident, at Billown Dip, involved two riders and two Course Marshals.

Organisers say a further statement will be issued in due course.
