Public asked to vote for initiative
A local charity is urging the Manx public to support its bid to create a memorial garden for those killed in the First World War.
The Royal British Legion is championing the project as one of three local charities selected for the Tesco 'Bags of Help' initiative.
The supermarket is awarding three grants from £8,000 to £12,000 to local green space schemes - shoppers are being asked to vote for the cause they deem most worthy.
Voting is open until 13 November, and vice chairman of the Legion, Colonel Charles Wilson, is appealing for support:
