Curtain comes down on annual celebration
A large audience is expected for a talk by one of the world's most prolific and best loved authors, at the finale of Manx LitFest 2017 tonight.
Alexander McCall Smith, best known for his series The No 1 Ladies Detective Agency, will discuss his work with fans and fellow writers at King William's College.
The event will bring the curtain down on this year's festival, which has seen a host of events take place around the Island this week.
It starts at 8pm in King's Court Theatre.
Earlier in the day, a Writer's Hub will be held at the Old Grammar School in Castletown (10am - 4pm) offering aspiring local authors a unique showcase.
