Bereaved relatives in show of support for assisted dying legislation

Group to gather outside Tynwald building on Tuesday

Bereaved relatives are to gather outside the Tynwald building from 8am on Tuesday morning (28 January) in a show of support for Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson's Assisted Dying Bill.

Later in the morning the Bill will be given its third reading in the Legislative Council.

Dr Allinson's Private Members Bill has progressed further through the legislative process than any such proposal in the British Isles, putting the Isle of Man on track to be the first to legalise assisted dying.
