Ben sailing brought forward tomorrow

Gale force winds predicted

There are more strong winds on the way, leading to Wednesday morning's sailing to Heysham being pulled back by an hour and a quarter. 

Instead of its usual sailing time of 8:45am, the Ben My Chree will set off at 7:30am.

Passengers should board no later than 7am tomorrow morning.

The return crossing is also sailing earlier than scheduled to get ahead of the strong winds.

A severe gale force nine is being predicted by the met office.

The Ben will depart from Heysham at 12:30pm, with passengers asked to arrive no later than 12 noon.
