Ferry returns after overhaul
The Island’s conventional ferry returns to service tomorrow after a short break for improvement work.
The Steam Packet Company says the Ben-my-Chree is due to return to Manx waters on Tuesday (3 May) and will make her first scheduled sailing on Wednesday.
She’s been in dry dock on Merseyside for three weeks for a scheduled service, which included a technical overhaul and upgrades to some passenger areas.
During her absence, the MV Arrow has helped maintain freight services, while the Manannan has run passenger routes to Heysham, Liverpool and Belfast.
