Further inspection by police after 12pm
The Beinney Phott Road remains closed this morning (Wed 30)
It follows heavy sleet and snow there yesterday.
The route was inspected by police shortly after 9am and will remain closed from its junction with Brandywell Cottage to the Mountain Road until midday, when there will be a further inspection.
The Mountain road remains open, but police say temperatures there are below freezing and there are some icy patches. Motorists are advised to take extra care.
