Iconic tent evacuated in unprecedented storm
Bushy’s Beer Tent will be open later today – after yesterday’s storm threatened to uproot it!
The tent in the Bottleneck Car Park had to be evacuated twice before it finally shut last night as winds of up to 65mph ripped across the Island.
But Martin Brunnschweiler says the damage is being repaired and he’s hopeful his iconic outdoor bar will be up and running by lunchtime.
He says he’s never seen anything like yesterday’s weather during TT.
