Police praise public after student celebrations
Police say they're 'proud of Peel', after members of the public tidied up a section of the town's beach.
A large number of students gathered near the old swimming pool on Friday to celebrate the end of exams - leaving behind them piles of rubbish, broken glass and remnants of a bonfire.
Officers took to social media to express their disappointment the next morning.
But now they say it's 'remarkably different', and are thanking whoever went to the effort of cleaning up the mess.
