Beach clean and remembrance service called off due to weather

Events postponed due to adverse weather conditions

This weekend's Beach Buddies cleaning session has been called off due to the weather conditions.

The charity had planned to tackle the coast at Smeale this morning, but decided to put the event back until next week due to the rain.

Meanwhile, the Maughold Parish Social Club has had to postpone its remembrance service on North Barrule for the second time.

The event had been due to take place at the memorial on the site of the 'Flying Fortress' plane crash.
