Beach Buddies to try for Point of Ayre again

Beach Buddies will again try to hold a beach cleaning event at the Point of Ayre this weekend, following the postponement of last week’s one.

The session starts at 10.30am on Sunday, ending no later than midday.

Founder Bill Dale says it’s an opportunity for people from Ramsey and the north to take part for the first time, if they have never joined in with Beach Buddies before.

He adds that all ages welcome, there are no fees and no need to register - just turn up and join in.

Beach Buddies provides all the equipment, and will remove all items collected and recycle as much as possible afterwards at the Northern Civic Amenity Site.
