Volunteers from the community and those visiting took part
Island-based volunteer group Beach Buddies are celebrating a record breaking number of events.
A total of 21 clean-ups took place over a period of seven days towards the end of April and beginning of May.
The organisation cleaned beaches, river banks, parks and roadsides, with cruise ship passengers, schools, businesses and action groups taking part.
The total is four more than the previous record for a one-week period.
Founder Bill Dale says: "It was a remarkable seven days and is a wonderful reflection on the Isle of Man and our fantastic community spirit.”
