Beach Buddies back up north

The Lhen and Sartfield to be cleaned

Beach Buddies is staging this weekend's beach clean in the north of the Island, in a re-run of last weekend's planned event.

Volunteers will be returning to The Lhen and Sartfield for another attempt to clear up along the northwest coastline.

To reduce parking congestion, the charity has chosen both sites as venues this morning (Sun 02) starting at 10.30am.

Those attending are asked to park with care, leaving space for others and also local residents.

As usual all are welcome. Volunteers will be asked to go south from The Lhen and north from Sartfield - and aim to meet somewhere in the middle!
