Twenty sharks spotted in waters off Peel
There's been a surprise appearance of 20 basking sharks in the west of the Island.
A group of scientists from Manx Basking Shark Watch sailed out to see the group of sharks in waters off Peel.
They were able to tag three sharks and perform science on 18 of the mixed sex group.
The organisation's coordinator Jackie Hall said they'd practically given up hope they'd spot any sharks at all this season:
