Baroness's horse cleared to race

Monbeg Genius will compete at Grand National 

Monbeg Genius will be allowed to race in the forthcoming Grand National.

The British Horseracing Authority's confirmed it can compete despite a restraint order placed on the assets of its owners, the Isle of Man-based Baroness Michelle Mone and her husband Doug Barrowman. 

Funds linked to the couple have been frozen, as a National Crime Agency investigation into PPE firm Medpro continues.

According to the Financial Times, about £75million of assets, including a townhouse in Belgravia, London and an estate in the Isle of Man, have either been frozen or restrained following an application by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
