Bank branches closed 'until further notice'

Follows reports of smell of gas

Isle of Man Bank and Natwest have had to close their Athol Street branches in Douglas until further notice.

It follows reports of a smell of gas at the site.

Fire crews have been at the scene this morning and engineers from Isle of Man Energy have been called out.

Both businesses say customers will be informed when they are able to reopen.

The banks have apologised for any inconvenience caused.
