Tynwald votes to outlaw certain items
A ban on single use plastic items on the Isle of Man is welcome, but could go further.
That's from the director of Manx environmental charity Beach Buddies, as Tynwald agreed to bring in the new legislation next year.
Businesses on the Island have been given 12 months to phase out items such as plastic straws, cutlery and polystyrene containers.
Bill Dale from the charity says he'd like to see more items added to the ban, and wants to know how the law will be enforced:
Bus drivers to hold off taking industrial action while talks continue
Regulation of Health and Social Care Bill pushed back to 2027
Manx patients will be contacted if appointments are impacted by UK strikes
Patient taken to hospital after medical emergency on board Manxman
