Vessel returns following refurbishment
There's a chance to take a midsummer coastal cruise in Manx waters next weekend - when the MV Balmoral returns after a three-year break.
The vessel has been lovingly refurbished by volunteers who've raised more than £300,000 and is now back in passenger service.
She's sailing leisurely trips to the Calf Man on Friday and Saturday (26, 27 June) and cruising to Peel on the Sunday (28 June).
On Tynwald Day in early July (Monday, 6 July) a day trip's on offer to the Cumbrian port of Whitehaven - where local attractions are opening specially.
Spokesman Dick Clague says Balmoral is the last of an era - and a very special boat: (play audio)
Tickets for the trips are available from Richmond Travel in Duke Street, Douglas,
