New clock for Island primary school
In a way, time has stood still at Ballasalla primary school for the best part of 50 years, but not any more.
Today has seen the official unveiling of a new, working clock on the outside of the building.
It's thought the hands on the previous one had not moved since the late 1960s.
Engineers Nathan Teare and Adam Calder from Ronaldsway Aircraft Company were tasked with rebuilding the mechanism:
