31-year-old denies charge
A Ballabeg woman accused of wrongly claiming more than £11,000 in benefits will appear in court again next year.
Thirty-one-year-old Rebecca Rose Parker, of Vicarage Close, appeared at Douglas Courthouse.
She denies one charge of failing to inform benefits officials of a change in her circumstances and three of making false representations to obtain benefits.
The offences are said to have taken place between April 2020 and April this year.
Bail was granted and Miss Parker will appear in court again on 8 February.
