Government's green initiatives branded 'confusing and contradictory'
A Baldrine resident who’s embarking on a project to embrace green technology says he believes the costs of home improvements would be prohibitive to most people.
The man – who wants to be referred to only as Mark – invited Manx Radio to his property to see the work he’s carried out so far.
It includes running a three-phase cable to his home and installing a new meter at the end of his 35 ft drive.
This has to be done before he can replace his oil-based systems with greener alternatives including solar panels:
