Application under consideration but has sparked criticism
The infrastructure minister says he's keen to 'get on' and deliver a plan to refurbish the streets in Castletown.
Tim Baker has responded to criticism from local businesses and residents in the area after plans were submitted for the works.
If successful the failing surfaces on Malew and Arbory streets will be replaced and lighting columns and soft landscaping will be installed.
The commissioners in the town say they welcome the plan but Mr Baker says he understands it won't please everyone:
