Former head of IOM Film mentioned in obituaries
The former head of Isle of Man film was mentioned at last night's BAFTA awards at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Steve Christian, who had been instrumental in the development of the Island's film industry and was the founder of CinemaNX, died almost exactly a year ago (Feb 2017) at the age of 53.
Mr Christian, a director of Pinewood Pictures when it took over the Island’s media development fund in 2012, was mentioned as one of the film industry notables who had passed away since the previous awards ceremony.
