But R rate has dropped slightly
The BA.2 variant of Omicron is now 'widespread' on the Isle of Man.
That's according to Public Health which says rising case numbers of Coronavirus are due to its increased transmissibility, an increase in travel and changes in patterns of behaviour and mixing.
However the Island's R rate has dropped slightly from last week and now stands at 2.00.
Data from the latest surveillance report shows an overall increase in cases in all age groups with the majority being detected in those aged between 30 and 50.
No further Covid-19 related deaths have been recorded in the last week.
