55-year-old died after operation at Noble's Hospital
People are being urged not to speculate on social media after four anaesthetists were reported for the offence of committing manslaughter by gross negligence.
The Manx Care staff are due to appear in court in the New Year over the death of 55-year-old Douglas man James Joseph Shimmin.
He died, on 4 February, having undergone a routine operation at Noble's Hospital.
