Serving MLC nominated for March election
Another serving Member of the Legislative Council has announced their intention to defend their seat in the upcoming election.
Tanya August-Hanson, who has held her role since 2018, has been nominated by Douglas East MHK Clare Barber.
Her nomination has been seconded by Dr Michelle Haywood MHK, and supported by MHK's Lawrie Hooper and David Ashford.
Miss August-Hanson is the second person to be put forward, alongside Diane Kelsey.
The Legislative Council election will take place on 14 March.
