Clauses stage of private members' bill continues today
Members of the House of Keys return to a familiar subject this morning as they continue to examine the details of Dr Alex Allinson's Assisted Dying Bill.
They have already spent a number of days debating the subject.
Members will continue their examination of the clauses stage of the contentious assisted dying bill today.
Before then though there are a dozen questions for ministers and department members to wrestle with.
Douglas Central member Chris Thomas kicks things off asking for the expected increase in expenditure for the Assisted Dying Bill. That’s addressed to Treasury member Dr Michelle Haywood not the minister, who is the mover of the Bill.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse’s first question is on the amount spent on our students, compared to neighbouring jurisdictions.
Those are starred or priority questions.
The inquiries then move to ambulance call outs to schools, and an update on the Island waste strategy, while Douglas South's Sarah Maltby asks about changing place facilities at Noble's and The Sea Terminal and John Wannenburgh's attention is drawn to the condition of the TT access road.
The sitting gets underway at 10am. You can follow live coverage of question time on Manx Radio's AM frequency and digital platforms.
