Assisted dying public meeting tonight postponed

Event rescheduled until June

A public meeting about assisted dying, scheduled for this evening, has been postponed.

It had been organised by the new local group My Death, My Decision.

The organisation's chair Trevor Moore had been due to speak at the Manx Legion Club, but has been unable to get to the Island after this morning's Gatwick flight was forced to return to London because of fog.

The event has been rescheduled for 26 and 27 of June, when Mr Moore will also give a briefing to Tynwald members.
