School children to be given special edition of the 50p piece
As part of the commemorations to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War a special coin has been launched.
The 50p pieces feature the soldier on the Douglas War memorial.
Special editions of the coins, which are adorned with red poppies, will be presented to all of the Island's school children next week.
