No risk to public says constabulary, as officers stood down
An armed police presence in Douglas this morning was prompted by a 'threatening message' sent to officers.
The constabulary says the action taken was a precautionary measure, whilst the threat was assessed.
Following enquiries, police say they're satisfied there is no risk to the public and officers have stood down.
