Roads in capital closed to motorists
Armed police are currently dealing with an incident in Douglas.
A number of roads in the capital have been closed whilst officers are at the scene at Quine’s Corner.
Lord Street is closed at its junction with Railway Hill and also at the junction with Ridgeway Street.
Access from Barrack Street to Lord Street has also been restricted - the junction at the bottom of Railway Hill and North Quay is also shut off.
Pedestrian access is restricted from the quay into Quine’s Corner.
The Isle of Man Constabulary has thanked people for their ‘understanding and patience’.
