
The Chief Minister signed off an historic document today that officially recognises the contribution by the Island's armed forces personnel.
Alan Bell launched the Armed Forces Community Covenant, which was also signed by the senior army commander in the North West of England, Brigadier Nick Fitzgerald MBE.
The main aim of the document is to ensure military members both past and present are not disadvantaged by their service.
Brigadier Fitzgerald says things can often be tough for people who leave the forces:
