
The man who played a pivotal role in bringing Manx artist Archibald Knox to the world's attention has died.
Founder of the Archibald Knox Society Liam O'Neill had been battling cancer for some time.
Mr O'Neill worked tirelessly to raise Knox's profile both on the Isle of Man and internationally and was widely respected as man of great knowledge, energy and integrity.
The directors of the Knox society say they will carry on with what they describe as his "amazing work"
