Tribute to sacrifice made by parish
A new war memorial will be unveiled in the southern parish of Arbory this afternoon.
Local commissioners are holding a dedication service at the parish hall in Ballabeg at 2pm.
The memorial, commissioned to mark the centenary of the first World War, honours the sacrifices made by people of the parish in all conflicts during the 20th century.
Arbory Commissioners say the memorial will ensure that loss is remembered by generations to come.
