Bids to collect in capital considered
Douglas charitable street collection and flag day applications for 2017 are open.
Douglas Town Centre Management says it's considering requests for licences in non-town centre areas, and the sooner organisations apply, the more likely they're successful.
Under the Borough of Douglas General Bylaws 1991, 28 applications will proceed, which doesn't include two-day collections during a disaster appeal.
The deadline for next year is on December 9.
