Future of the group is uncertain
The future of a group in the West of the Island could be in jeopardy.
Peel Gardeners Association is appealing for new members to enter the fold and ensure it continues for many years to come.
The Committee's average age is now in the mid-eighties - so they are "unable to move and erect tackles as they used to be able to do".
The association says it's not a time consuming commitment, as most of the work is done in two days, when setting up and running their annual show.
Chairman Bert Quayle says the group may be of particular interest to new retirees interested in putting something back into the town:
If you would like more information about joining the group, you can call Bert directly on 843157.
