Changes made to criteria for applicants
The Island's Fire and Rescue Service is holding another recruitment drive for retained firefighters.
The part-time or on-call fire officers make up around a hundred of the Island's 160 strong force.
Assistant Divisional Officer with responsibility for operational response, Geoff Quayle, says having another recruitment drive is quite unusual as they didn't have enough recruits following the previous drive eight month's ago to run a course.
And he says there have been some important changes
