Another closure in the Strand

Sports Direct bought the company in July

Another retail outlet in the Strand Shopping Centre will close tomorrow (Saturday).

The Manx Crafters Gift Shop will shut its doors for the final time, more than three years after opening.

Mothercare ceased trading in the Strand a fortnight ago, Millets is advertising a closing down sale, while HMV is due to close in late January.

The Strand complex was bought by Sports Direct in July and the retail giant plans to open a store in multiple units later next year.
