London couple travelling over for their ceremony
The Isle of Man is once again set to be part of history when it comes to different-sex civil partnerships.
Last week saw the first one in the British Isles take place here, when Island residents Adeline Cosson and Kieran Hodgson had their ceremony.
Today a couple from London, Claire Beale and Martin Loat, will become the first United Kingdom-based heterosexual couple to enter into a civil partnership in the British Isles.
The UK currently does not allow or recognise these.
