Winter planning discussed at Manx Care board meeting
The Isle of Man is expected to have another bad flu season this winter.
Last year was said to be 'particularly bad' for admissions to hospital with the illness.
Oliver Radford, Manx Care's Operations Director, says Australia has seen a high number of flu cases this year, something likely to be mirrored here.
Speaking at the health body's recent board meeting, he says careful planning coupled with a high uptake of the flu vaccine should help matters:
