Behaviour unacceptable says Chief Constable
The Chief Constable has pleaded for calm after a female police officer was assaulted last night.
It's the second attack on a female member of the constabulary in just three days, and the tenth incident targeting an officer in the last month.
The victim is reported to be unhurt.
Chief Constable Gary Roberts says any aggression directed at his staff is 'simply not acceptable'.
