'Time to remember those who suffered' at St Mary of the Isle Cathedral
An annual service to commemorate and remember the victims of the Holocaust takes place later today (Sunday, 26 January).
The Island's Holocaust Memorial Service will be held this afternoon at St Mary of the Isle Cathedral on Hill Street in Douglas.
It is held in conjunction with Holocaust Memorial Day (27 January) which this year has the theme of 'For a Better Future'.
Organisers say all are welcome to attend the event, which starts at 3pm.
