Speaker to rally CDs for joint Brexit approach
An Island advocate says British Crown Dependencies must work together in order to secure their future outside Europe.
The view of Simon Cain, ahead of the Law Society's annual Caroline Weatherill memorial lecture, which takes place tonight (13 Oct) at the Manx Museum.
This year's guest speaker is Sir Michael Birt.
The former Jersey Bailiff will discuss the implications of the UK legislating on behalf of the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands, on matters such as tax and post-Brexit sovereignty.
The lecture, which begins at 6pm, is free to all members of the public.
